Artist statement
Marie Ueto expresses her intuition, her inspiration, and the scenes appeared in her dreams on canvases through women and nature. She creates mainly Art Works with Digital Processing and Acrylic Paints. She is also working energetically in Live painting.
For her it is quite natural like breathing to express herself by drawing pictures. She expresses the things flowing out from her by way of pens and paintbrushes with all her heart, devoting herself into it. Breathe out, breathe in and breathe out..., in that rhythm her art exists. In the past various Prizes were given.
In December 2019 exhibited at New National Museum and got the Rookie Award. Living in Fukuoka.
